“ZEN AND THE ART OF MOTORCYCLE MAINTENANCE”
A Book written by Robert Pirsig
Dennis Davis (Film Maker) and Manola Carter (Producer) have teamed-up to make a documentary about the above mentioned book (published in 1974), which has somehow changed the life of many who have read it. They are both in the studio with me.
In Segments 2, 3, and 4, Professor Stephen Hinshaw, Ph.D. joins us by phone from UC Berkeley. He talks about the stigma with Mental Illness, and the mental health crisis we have today.
And in Segment 5 and six, Dennis and Manola are joined by Lee Glover from Boise, ID, who has made the Pirsig Journey several times, and who owns a 1964 Honda SuperHawk, like Robert Pirsig rode during his Zen Route in 1968.
